Contexte

The Community Trust Index (CTI) is a measurement tool used by Mongolian Red Cross to assess and monitor the level of trust in their work with communities across the country. It evaluates trust in multiple dimensions including competencies such as reliability, technical proficiency and experience, and values such as ethics, integrity, and transparency. The community index was conducted in 12 provinces using a mixed approach.

Résultats

With support from the regional CEA team, the Mongolian Red Cross conducted a mixed methods survey to measure perception of trust among service recipients and broader community from 15th to 28th December 2023. The questionnaire was administered across 6 provinces (out of 24), gathering data from 1557 respondents to ensure representative sampling.

Confiance communautaire par audience

The Community Trust Index in Mongolia indicates a positive overall score of 7.45 (out of 10). The scores for MRCS service recipients and volunteers are notably high, with 8.22 and 8.14 respectively. However, the score among non-beneficiaries (6.66) suggests that there is potential for improvement in engagement and effective communication with this group.
At the same time, the high score on competencies (7.61) reflects that the MRCS's efforts are well-perceived and contribute to maintaining a high level of trust among target populations. The values score of 7.29 further underscores the organization's commitment to its principles and mission.
